Community Youth Event - Saturday March 6th, at 7 p.m. there will be a community wide youth event hosted by West Point UPC in the empty building next to Griffin Insurance downtown. The service is part of the week long West Point Youth meeting, Go Wheat 2010, and will feature John Haislip and Unlugged Worship from West Point, the His Place Improv Team, and a special speaker. This will be a special time to get the youth of our community together for a time of fellowship.

Ministry Opportunity - On Easter Sunday we will be having a special music service. Brad is needing several vocalists to help with the service. Auditions will be held at a later date. Contact Brad for more information.

P3 (Purity, Passion, & Pearls) Sponsorships - We are seeking sponsorships for the girls who will be participating in the P3 weekend. The cost to sponsor one girl is $100.00. If you would like to sponsor one or more girls in this event, make your checks payable to His Place and give them to Anna Harris. General donations for the event may be given to Anna as well.

Sheila Walsh: Coming to His Place November 20th, 2010 - Internationally acclaimed Christian singer, speaker, and writer, Sheila Walsh, will be at His Place for a 1-day conference and concert on Nov. 20th, 2010. Yes, that is a year from now, but tickets are on sale now for anyone who would like to give a ticket as a Christmas present. The "early bird" ticket cost is $30 and includes lunch. The price will go up to $35 on Oct 1 and to $40 on Nov 1. Seating is limited and we expect to sell out, so please get your tickets soon.
